Sakellie Daniels Basketball

MY STORY
Sakellie Daniels basketball camps started in the summer of 2010. My dream was to go back to the place my career started and instill in the younger generation positive life skills. While growing up in Raeford, North Carolina I had the opportunity to be under some well rounded coaches. I rarely had the opportunity to play with competition of my age, all the coaches wanted to advance me to the older age groups. I always accepted the challenge and my parents supported me at all times. Through plates sales, cake sales, car washes, basketball camps and various AAU tournaments my youth years were spent on the road.
As I grew older basketball became my lifestyle. I was receiving attention from numerous colleges via letters and calls. I still have recruitment letters and media guides from coaches stashed in a tote at my parents house. Once I entered my senior year I was tabbed the 20th best point guard in the Nation and the 69th best player by the All Stars Girls Report. Though I received attention from many coaches, I decided to sign to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I became apart of a stellar class that was ranked in the top 50 incoming freshman. After 4 years of being a Charlotte 49er, my pro career started. That is where I birth my dream to start my very own basketball skills camps. (Switzerland 2009)
